RDG 0900 - College Reading & Study Skills

Prerequisite(s): One of the following: (1) an ACT reading score 12-17, or 223-249 on the Accuplacer Next Generation reading, or (2) a minimum high school grade point average of 2.8 AND a minimum ACT reading score of 10, or a minimum Accuplacer Next Generation reading score of 217, or (3) RDG 0750 with a minimum grade of C.

Designed to help students develop higher-level reading and thinking skills applicable in a variety of settings. Coursework focuses on increasing reading efficiency through the improvement of vocabulary and comprehension. Additionally, emphasis is placed on building study skills germane to college-level coursework.
